Black Lives Matter!
“Why is that?” you ask.
1…God made them, same like you and me
2….He made them to be free, same like you and me
3…He gave them minds and emotions, full of devotions
1…God likes diversity, in color and style and size
2…He likes the wise, in color and style and size
3…He gave them dreams and opposable thumbs
1…He gave them hearts and plenty of smarts
2…He made them compose food and clothes
3…He gave them dreams to think of things to do---
same like me and you
1… He gave them strengths to build and cook
just like in His Book
2…He gave them songs to ease their pain
ongs that to this day remain
3…He gave them love from Above---
as much as He gave you and me
For all these reasons and many more it should make our hearts sore — to know we have oppressed them.
Trying to hold them down…impossible because God made their souls to soar, their hearts to roar.

ALL lives matter no matter what color or race. The BLM movement and Antifa were established by the deep state - ie: the Democrats......in an attempt to throw the nation into an uproar which would allow them to move in, cheat in the presidential election and overtake the US with Communism and Socialism. PRAY PATRIOTS!!!! RALLY AND KEEP OUR NATION STRONG!!!!!!!

Ah, Mr. Fields... If George Washington is a Hero, then Robert E. Lee cannot be a Traitor.
Educate yourself. Read the old books, letters, diaries, and other primary sources of our American history. Here are some facts below to help you get started:
“The War Between the States” is the correct terminology to describe the great conflict, not a "Civil War," which is defined as when two or more sides fight for control of the national government. Southern leaders like Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee were not fighting for control of Washington, D.C., in 1861, any more than Benjamin Franklin and George Washington were fighting for control of the British Crown in 1776. The South simply wanted to be left alone- with peaceful, legal secession as allowed under our Constitutional Government. The 1861-1865 war was waged over control of territory and resources; it was a war of tariffs; it was in every respect an immoral and unnecessary war whose best solution would have been a peaceful, negotiated settlement forming an alternative union of states. It was between two constitutionally-sanctioned governments that the war was waged. The Confederate States of America wanted to leave the northern Union states intact and its United States Government untrammeled. Southern states voted after careful deliberations in those states to form an alternative union to maintain a purer form of Constitutional government as bequeathed by our Founding Fathers. Slavery itself as an institution was disappearing around Europe and the rest of the civilized world- in all but a few pockets which remain around the globe today. Many of the institutions of slavery died a natural death in the civilized world by the 1880's, and many scholars of today contend it would have suffered the same fate in the years following 1861 in North America. And yet the irony is, even after Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia at Appomattox in 1865, slavery was still legal in the District of Columbia.
The distinguished historian Dr. Clyde Wilson perhaps summarizes it best when he observes Lee's decision to resign from the U.S. Army to serve in the defense of the invaded South was one of the most important and monumental decisions in American history, similar to George Washington's gradual increasing resistance to the acts of the British ministry (whereupon he came to believe the English government had a deliberate intent to subvert Virginia's traditional liberty). The progression of Lee's thought in regard to Lincoln and the Republican Party was exactly the same. Was George Washington, who had held a royal commission, a traitor for fighting the invaders and would-be conquerors of his country? Was he obligated to fight for the King against the American states?
The noted 19th Century writer Herman Melville observed at the time:
One who sees Lee, sees Washington
And must hide the thought -
So full of grievous meaning it is wrought!
In Virginia with the carefully considered official act of secession, a solemn act of the sovereign people representing the consent of the people, represents the most fundamental principal of American government. How could the people of Virginia commit treason against themselves? How could any act in their defense be treason? Here in Fauquier County in the Spring of 1861, the Virginia Ordinance of Secession vote was 1809 to 4 in favor of Virginia secession. In the immediate counties to our south and west, the votes of many Virginia counties were unanimous in favor of secession. Despite Lee's personal feelings against Virginia secession, for a man of Lee's inheritance, the Union was not the government, especially when it was under the control of a minority party obviously hostile to a part of the voluntary Union. Lee could not accept the Republican redefinition of the Union as centralized force. Lincoln and his accomplices were modern statists, and the Union meant to them the machinery of the federal government, under the control of their party, to be used for their agenda. As Lee and his fellow southrons understood it, the original Union was a gentleman's agreement and not a group of buildings in Washington, D.C., from which sacred commandments were issued.
To suggest all American Patriots of 1776 and 1861 were all Traitors is an embarrassing display of Historic Ignorance On Fire.

Jeff : Come down off that perch before you decide to jump to prove that gravity doesn't exist.
For nearly 200 years Southerners have waged an illogical war against the truth. The South lost, the South seceded from the Union, the South made up stories to make themselves as victors, they LOST, you are the one that needs to get over it and move on.
This is the only country in the world that has monuments to LOSERS and TRAITORS.

Carole Haynes, writing at Abbeville Institute, expresses it well:
Why are millennials so willing to join the Black Lives Matter movement and denounce the nation that has given them freedom and an amazing lifestyle that are mere dreams for the vast majority of the world’s population? This hatred of America can be traced directly to American education, not only colleges but grades K-12.
In the 1960s the teaching of history in the North and the South fell under the despotic control of the Marxists. A constant drumbeat into the brains of students is that slavery was the cause of the Civil War, secession was treasonous, and all whites are racists and White Supremacists. Public schools are no longer bastions of academic learning but rather indoctrination centers of social and emotional learning, a technological manipulation of the student’s mindset that was unconstitutionally legislated by a Republican-led House and Senate and signed by a Marxist president.
Teacher colleges are nearly all liberal with Marxist thinking being the daily fare. Teachers and administrators steeped in Marxism are receptive to the Black Lives Matter curriculum with racism, anti-Americanism, anti-Confederacy, and radical sex.
With decades of American education distorting the facts about the War of Northern Aggression and discrediting Southern culture and people, the stage has been set for organizations like Black Lives Matter to use racism to attract crazed indoctrinated youth for the take down of America. The BLM has been able to convince the public — and even “conservative” Congressmen — that Confederate monuments are memorials to “slave owning,” “treasonous” Confederate leaders such as Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson and must be destroyed.
For nearly 200 years liberals have waged an ideological war against the South. The Republican party is loath to trigger the wrath of liberal media and Southern politicians walk on eggshells to avoid crossing black civil-rights leaders. So it’s up to ordinary Southerners to learn the true facts and discredit the lies of liberals and Neocons.
Do the 1619 LIES Matter? Educate Yourselves:
"All Lives Matter" under God.

Thank you for recognizing that I'm a solid human. I agree 100%. And, yes, I will keep up the good work. Thanks for the encouragement.

Silii, I have to assume your ill-formed sentence is trying to say that it is people like me who are the oppressors because I ask the question.
Brilliant. You're a solid human. Keep up the good work.

Black lives matters is an activist group that was started by the deep state of Democrats and communists who are using this platform of race to divide our nation so that they can "swoop in" and save the day. Do your homework.
Same thing happened in Yugoslavia except the religion platform was used there.

Hey Jim, Peole like you who ask question about who is "we".
jim goodwin · November 22, 2020 at 2:24 pm
Who's the "we" who have oppressed them exactly?
