Remington fire/rescue volunteers will host the annual “Fall Bash” fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will host its Fall Bash fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 19.

The doors will open at 9 a.m. at the station at 200 E. Marshall St.

The event will feature vendors, a silent auction, a raffle with dozens of prizes and free VIN (vehicle information number) etching by the Virginia State Police and the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.

The volunteers also will serve a “drive-thru” grilled chicken dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Each $10 dinner will include green beans, macaroni and cheese and a roll.

Raffle tickets are $20 each. Starting at 11 a.m., the volunteers will conduct 32 drawings, each for a valuable prize. The list includes cash, gift cads, guns, hunting bows and a chainsaw. The drawings will conclude at 3:50 p.m. and the silent auction at 4 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at RTO Tire and Automotive and the Corner Deli or online at RVFRD.com and at the volunteer company Facebook page.
