“Re-Opening Fauquier for Business” meeting Friday

Molly’s Irish Pub and other downtown Warrenton restaurants began serving patrons on designed public spaces, including sidewalks and parking spaces, Friday, May 16. Last Friday, the state allowed indoor service at 50-percent capacity.
A “Re-Opening Fauquier for Business” virtual town hall meeting will take place Friday, June 12.
The Fauquier Chamber will host the event on Zoom, starting at 8:30 a.m.
Panelists will address Phase Two of Virginia’s reopening plan during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speakers will include a Virginia Department of Health representative, Sheriff Bob Mosier, Warrenton Police Chief Mike Kochis, Warrenton Town Manager Brandie Schaeffer and Warrenton Emergency Services Coordinator Mike Potter.
They will address:
• Health and safety best practices in the workplace.
• Understanding your rights and what a business can ask of you.
• Communication and execution – employees, customers, vendors, community officials.
• Anticipating challenges/pivot in response to challenges – analyzing data, customer behaviors, process for feedback.
• Risk management.

So, has Reopen Fauquier now disbanded or do they really have an alternative agenda and simply used closures due to covid19 as an excuse or cover for a different purpose?
