For justice and change, take a knee, Fauquier
By Conway Porter
Take a Knee, Fauquier.
Get down there for about 9 minutes
and contemplate and pray.
Ask: What can I do? What’s next?
Take a knee, Supervisors.
Take a knee, School Board.
Take a knee, Sheriff and Police.
Parents, Students, Doctors, Lawyers, Clergy, Teachers...
Take a knee. John Mosby, John Barton Payne, John Marshall, Harry Byrd, Judge Smith.
Ask yourself: What did I do?
Everybody take a knee.
Take a knee for Justice. Take a knee for Change. Take a knee especially for Love and Trust and Respect.
Ask for Direction.
Ask for Guidance.
You won’t rise unchanged.
It’s only 9 minutes.
Not like it’s the rest of your life.

NEVER! You are not my God. I will never bow down before you!
Please listen to the co-founder of BLM in her own words proudly say that she, and her co-founder, are "trained Marxists."

Seems like the liberals dislike being served what they dish out.
Rover 530 · June 17, 2020 at 3:28 pm
Also agree. Very nasty people on the lunatic fringes of society. some now resorting to cutting and pasting the same drivel in multiple comment strings.
GreggR · June 17, 2020 at 9:37 am
In agreement with Silii. Too many angry trolls only intent on abuse. Not worth paying attention to them.
Silii · June 14, 2020 at 5:39 pm
Imagine if commenters here weren't so nasty and ugly, focused only on calling names and being so divisive. Yes, you have your opinion, but try for once melding it into others' opinions and take the risk of everyone coming to some acceptable agreement. I think there are some trolls on here so it has become not worth reading.

Imagine if democrats weren't running Virginia into the ditch.

Imagine if instead of forcing our Fauquier County Public Schools elementary grade children to learn about a man, Malcolm X, who became imprisoned for stealing hubcaps, hustling sexual favors and speaking the violence and racial strife in America was indicative of “the chickens coming home to roost," they instead learned about another man, John F. Harris, whose eloquent words go against the argument used by those, wanting to remove Confederate statues, that contemporary blacks had little chance to oppose them when they were erected. Aside from anecdotal evidence that blacks joined white crowds to observe the dedication ceremonies, one example in Mississippi provides undeniable evidence of explicit high-level black support. In 1890 the Mississippi legislature voted on a bill to appropriate $10,000 for a Confederate monument. All six black representatives voted “yea.” One, John F. Harris, made a supporting speech excerpted below prior to the vote:
Mr. Speaker! I have risen here in my place to offer a few words on the bill… I was sorry to hear the speech of the young gentleman from Marshall County. I am sorry that any son of a soldier should go on record as opposed to the erection of a monument in honor of the brave dead.
And, sir, I am convinced that had he seen what I saw at Seven Pines and in the Seven Days’ fighting around Richmond, the battlefield covered with the mangled forms of those who fought for their country and for their country’s honor, he would not have made that speech….When the news came that the South had been invaded, those men went forth to fight for what they believed, and they made no requests for monuments… But they died, and their virtues should be remembered.
Sir, I went with them. I too wore the gray, the same color my master wore. We stayed four long years, and if that war had gone on till now I would have been there yet…. I want to honor those brave men who died for their convictions.
When my mother died I was a boy. Who, Sir, then acted the part of a mother to an orphaned slave boy, but my old missus? Were she living now, or could speak to me from those high realms where are gathered the sainted dead, she would tell me to vote for this bill. And, Sir, I shall vote for it. I want it known to all the world that my voice is given in favor of the bill to erect a monument in honor of the Confederate dead.”
Harris was about thirty years old when he went off with his master to fight on the side of the Confederacy. After the War he studied law at the offices of Percy and Yerger in Greenville, Mississippi. The firm’s co-founder was William Alexander Percy, a former Confederate Colonel. In 1867 Percy successfully defended ex-slave, Holt Collier, who had been accused of murdering a federal officer.
Holt fought as a Confederate sharpshooter during the War and later was a guide for Theodore Roosevelt when the President visited Mississippi on a bear hunt in 1902. When word got out that Roosevelt declined to shoot a bear that Holt had trapped for him, a toy manufacturer started mass producing stuffed bears for infants. He named them Teddy Bears.
We can only imagine the amount of truly awful historic ignorance, strife, violence and bigotry at the hands of the "Hate Has No Home Here" supporters of Antifa, BLM and other Radical Left factions which could have been avoided, if only a tiny few bad cops in the world had learned Christianity; and if today's rioters and their knee-kneeling friends had learned this kind of American history one, two and three generations ago in their public schools instead.

The dumb-A millennials that live in their mother’s basements and live off the government are a huge problem. These young liberals are taking over city streets, attack cops and are burning down black and white businesses. My middle school age child came to me tonight and pointed out that what’s happening is demoract-socialism another word for facism which is another word for Nazis. I’m so glad the next generation after the millennials, will notice what they see and will not allow the liberal nazis to take hold of our communities or government!

Correction: Not all Americans are idiots, but liberal Americans are assholes.
AmericanPatriot · June 11, 2020 at 8:13 am
I am pretty sure you have never opened a bible in your miserable life, demo.
Now, go do something constructive. Like pick up the trash your friends leave behind.
Pete Nowotny · June 11, 2020 at 6:46 am
Bend your knee for rioters and terrorists? You, Americans, are such idiots.
orleanva · June 10, 2020 at 6:46 pm
Perfect. And I will.
Demosthenes · June 10, 2020 at 6:13 pm
I'm pretty sure Jesus said "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
I am pretty sure Jesus did not say anything like "eff those who seek justice and let them all burn in hell." But if I'm wrong AP then let me know.

Your Fauquier County School Board just funded the transportation of BLM protestors who just marched on Waterloo Street. Tax Payer buses shuttled them. I dont know how that is legal or the liability that could have exposed we taxpayers to. This is very concerning and Jeck needs to explain these expenditures immediately.
AmericanPatriot · June 10, 2020 at 5:12 pm
I don't want or need your satanic utterances, laura.
Save them for all the dead in Chicago you people gloss over as if they were cockroaches.
AmericanPatriot · June 10, 2020 at 5:12 pm
I wrote it with absolute truth and sincerity.
I don't bend my knee for anyone, let alone a bunch of sanctimonious domestic terrorists.
Demosthenes · June 10, 2020 at 5:01 pm
I hope AmericanPatriot wrote that with some sense of sarcasm or irony.
But I bet not.
LauraNixBerg · June 10, 2020 at 4:54 pm
I just said a prayer for you, Angry Patriot.
AmericanPatriot · June 10, 2020 at 3:50 pm
I don't take a knee for anyone by Jesus Christ.
The rest of you can go to hell.
