Warrenton’s comprehensive plan addresses long-range decisions related to transportation, economic development, parks and recreation, historic preservation and housing.
Warrenton officials this month will conduct the last in a series of public workshops on potential revisions to the town’s comprehensive plan

Open to the public, the workshop will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the PATH Foundation building at 321 Walker Drive.

The updated comprehensive plan will serve as a blueprint for Warrenton’s future through 2040.

The plan addresses long-range planning decisions related to transportation, economic development, parks and recreation, historic preservation and housing.

“The next stop after the workshop will be work sessions and public hearings before the planning commission and town council,” according to the press release.

The planning commission serves as an advisory panel to the council, which has final authority.
