Gordmans will replace Peebles in the Warrenton Village Center.
The Gordmans store in the Warrenton Village Center will conduct its grand opening Tuesday, March 3.

A national “off-price” department store chain, Gordmans will replace the Peebles store that operated in the same space for five decades.

“At Gordmans, we’ve put the fun back into shopping by creating an exciting store with terrific deals, fun finds and popular brands at every turn,” said Michael Glazer, president/CEO of Houston-based Stage Stores that owns the retail chain. “This means exceptional values on merchandise for all ages and on-trend décor for the home. New shipments arrive weekly, creating the thrill of a great find.”

The store will donate $1,000 to Fauquier High School at the 9 a.m. grand opening.

At the same time, Gordmans will open in eight other Virginia towns, including Front Royal, Luray and Manassas.
