Arizona Zimbro, 85, passed peacefully Friday, November 19, 2021 at her home in The Plains.
She was born on July 9, 1936, in Middleburg, to the late, Ashby and Nellie Jenkins.
Arizona was a devoted mother of seven children and an avid gardener. She enjoyed music and dancing but most of all, she loved to laugh. She was a kind and loving woman who will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Arizona is survived by five daughters, Gayle Miller, Dawn Z. Suehring, Debbra Monk, Melody Culotta and Sherry Pritchard; two sisters, Leitha Maye Zimbro and Betty Lou Price; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband, James Jesse Zimbro; three brothers, Warren Jenkins, Leal Jenkins and Wilbur Jenkins; two sisters, Nina Jenkins and Mildred Pearson, and two children, Tammy Leah Ross and James Jesse Zimbro II.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. A graveside service will be held at noon Wednesday, November 24, at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway.
