Betty J. Fewell, 76, of Front Royal passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday March 2, 2021, at her home.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul Fewell; a son, Rodney Lynn Fewell; three brothers, Herbert Lawson, William Lawson and James Lawson, and two sisters, Nancy Foster and Elizabeth Gray.

Betty attended Riverton Methodist Church in Front Royal and worked as a custodian for Fauquier County Public Schools until she retired after 30 years of service in 2009.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Fewell of Front Royal; two sons, Paul “Rick” Fewell and wife Connie of Madison, and Peter Fewell of Orlando Florida; a sister, Peggy Morgan and husband Matt of Missouri; a grandson, Rodney L. Fewell Jr. and wife Amber of Fredericksburg, and four great-grandchildren, Kadence Fewell, Cassidy Fewell, R.J. Fewell and Kaia Fewell.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday March 5, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Rev. Marc Roberson will conduct the service at 12:30 p.m. Saturday March 6, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery.
