Elizabeth A. Taylor Grimsley, 81, of Columbia, Tenn., passed away November 2, 2020, at her residence.
Elizabeth was born January 17, 1939, in Fauquier County, to the late Ernest Milton and Annie Frances Jenkins Jeffries of the White Hall Farm.
She was later married to the late Bernard Taylor. She and Bernard had six children before their separation. She then married the late Marvin H. “Tippy” Grimsley and for over 38 years lived on Buckland Farm.
Survivors include her daughters, Terry (Donnie) Dyson of Virginia, Margie (Louis) Sampayo of Colorado and Donna (Jason) Ryan of Tennessee; a son, Don Taylor of Ohio; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
She loved her family very much and was thankful for the time she had with all of them.
She was preceded in death by son, Bernard Allen Taylor Jr., and a daughter, Peggy Ann Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 8, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 9, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens near Jeffersonton. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
