Elizabeth Gertrude Grogan, 93, passed peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2020, at home in Warrenton.
She was born September 6, 1926, in Philadelphia, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Shields.
Elizabeth is survived by two children, Edward J. ‘Ed’ Grogan and his wife Peggy of Dunkirk, Md., and Elizabeth A. “Betty” Colegrove and her husband Richard of Warrenton, and five cherished grandchildren, Joe, John and Gigi Grogan, and Lauren and Andrew Colegrove.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Grogan, World War II Army veteran, and her beloved sister, Patricia Farrell.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Warrenton. Interment will be between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, Pa. 19064.
