Elnora Witcher Mayo, 77, of Bealeton, caught a glimpse of Heaven on March 25, 2021.
She was born April 30, 1943, in Pittsylvania County, to the late Scott and Pearl Shelton Witcher.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Abner Edward Mayo, and her children; Gwen Williams (Bernard) of Manassas, Nichole Williams (Lonnie) of Woodbridge, Sharyn Robinson of Manassas Park, and Sydnee Reese of Centerville; sisters, Corine Coleman (Edward), Ella Mae Hamm, Bernadette Johnson (Howard), Dolly Bass (Bill), and Gwenda Lee Davis; brothers, Joe Witcher, Paul Witcher (Kat), Randolph Witcher, Jerome Davis (Lisa), and honorary brother Ollie Henson; as well as her beloved grandchildren Dominic, Danyá, Andre, Nickolas, Madison, Anthony, and Kameron. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by brothers Howard Witcher and Ervin Witcher.
A public viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The family will not be present. A private funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Heart of God International Church in Springfield with Bishop Eugene Logan as the eulogist (Fresh Wind Outreach Ministries). Private interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery.
