Ethel Elizabeth Sayles, 92, of Bealeton, passed away December 25, 2020.

She was born on December 22, 1928, and was preceded in death by her husband, George Charles Sayles and a son, Charles W. Sayles.

Ethel is survived by six sisters, Kathleen Brock of Reva, Martha Hoffman of Reva, Alice (William) Gray of Norman, Va., Laura Thompson of Madison, Genevieve Glascoe of Capital Heights, Md., and Linda (Preston) Washington of Fredericksburg; a brother, William (Louise) Glascoe of Ft. Washington, Md.; three granddaughters, Margaret (Joseph) Miller of Upper Marlboro, Md., Tiffany (Phillip) Summerfield of Tulsa, Okla., and Dawn Sayles of Moncks Corner, S.C.; five great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 2, at Joynes Funeral Home in Warrenton. A graveside service will follow at St. James Baptist Church, 7353 Botha Road, Bealeton.
