Jeanne Lutero Stith, 76, of Warrenton, went home to be with the Lord on a Friday afternoon, February 19, 2021, after her 11-year battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home surrounded by family, just the way she wanted.
She was a loving sister, mom, nana, a fierce and loyal friend to many, and an example of courage in times of testing.
Jeanne joined the U.S. Civil Service, eventually becoming a financial analyst and retiring after 20 years. She worked for many years at Vint Hill Farms Station until its closure. She remained close with many of her friends from her VHFS days. Jeanne was an active member of NARFE and the Republican Women’s Club in Warrenton.
Jeanne is survived by her sister, Joyce; her sons, Dennis and Timothy; her granddaughters, Kate and Jenna; her nephews Andrew, Jeffrey and Spencer, and her niece, Erin.
The family welcomes all of Jeanne’s friends to join them for a graveside service at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 28, at Bright View Cemetery, 8265 Lunsford Road, Warrenton. We respectfully ask that all wear masks to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends making a donation to
Paws for Seniors or
