Leslie “Ray” Davis, 82, passed peacefully at his home in Nokesville on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

He was born December 16, 1938, in Westmoreland County to the late Floyd and Vern Davis.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Louise J. Davis; four children, Cathy D. Hash and her husband Steve of Nokesville, Diana Johnson and her husband Bill of Amissville, Leslie R. Davis II and his wife Laura of Sumerduck, and James E. Davis and his wife Heather of Woodbridge; nine grandchildren, Heather, Renee, Amanda, Jessica, Emily, Leslie III, Jessica, Michael and Olivia; six great grandchildren, Tara, Andie, Jayden, Molly, Chloe and Ariadne, and a half-sister, Joanne Purgason.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Davis.

The family will receive friends at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton from 1 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 5. Interment take place at the Catlett Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
