Obituaries » Michael Anthony Viscal

Michael Anthony Viscal, 57, of Warrenton, died Monday, December 27, 2021, at his home.

He was born March 19, 1964, in Berkshire, England, to Victor and Yvonne Viscal.

Michael was always found outside tinkering around the house. He demanded perfection, always immaculately dressed and was a detailed house painter. He enjoyed his beer, was an awesome cook and always dreamed of visiting various food destinations. He loved his truck, his “man shed” and working in the yard. He also loved his English bulldog, Lily, and his cats, Molly, Maizie and Margaux.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Michelle Ray Viscal; his mother-in-law, Barbara Ray; brothers-in-law, John Ray and Trevor Ray; five siblings, Donald Viscal (Geraldine), Suzanne Viscal, Victoria Gahan (Tracy), Alan Viscal (Jane), and Gary Viscal; a niece, Fallon Viscal and her son, Anthony, and two nephews, Alex Greene and Sam Viscal (Charlene).

In addition to his mum, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Glynn Viscal.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, with Father Charles Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family would like to invite those unable to attend to watch via livestream. https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1640926067156715

A reception will follow at the Gloria Faye Dingus Center for the Arts, 92 Main St., Suite 104, Warrenton.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
