Michael William Loy, 30, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
Michael was one of a kind. Everything he set his mind to he gave 110 percent. He was the most accomplished young man who never let something go unfinished. He worked hard and was so proud of his accomplishments. Life was a beautiful adventure for him. He loved animals and had a knack for catching and befriending anything he saw. He cared so much for the earth and made every opportunity his, to make things better. Michael loved children and believed strongly in raising a generation that would value his work ethic and loving the world God gave us. Everyone he met felt appreciated and full of laughter. He never hesitated to cheer for others, and lending a hand was pure instinct. He lived his life to the FULLEST. His positive outlook was unrivaled and his light will never go out.
He served the city of Manassas as their senior building and facilities maintenance technician where he recently earned his Master’s license in HVAC.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christen Loy; his father, Glen William Loy of Midland; his mother, Meris Michael Keiser of Buckley, Wash., and his sister, Kendall Gayle Williams and her husband Colby, and their two sons, Caden and Greyson Williams of Enumclaw, Wash.
The public viewing, service and reception will take place at Zoar Baptist Church in Catlett on Tuesday, August 24. The viewing will be at 10 a.m., with the service to follow at 11 a.m. and a reception in the church hall. A private burial will be in Augusta, West Virginia.
