Mildred M. Stevens, 84, of Catlett, passed away, surrounded by her loving family at home on Saturday July 17, 2021.
She was born September 13, 1936, to the late Edward F. and Mary E. Allen.
Mildred loved animals and country music. She was an avid Elvis fan with an extensive Elvis memorabilia collection. She was the past president of the Virginia Chapter of the Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty fan clubs and was a team mom to several girls/ladies’ softball teams throughout the years. She will be greatly missed!
She is survived by her husband, John Perry Stevens of Catlett; two daughters, Cheryl Frazier (Gary) of Remington and Linda Stevens of Catlett; two sons, Dennis Hughes (Sharon) of North Carolina and Eddie Stevens of Catlett; her first cousin, Elsie Lunsford (Bobby) of Richmond; two nieces, Lorena Allen and Evie Allen-Mills; three nephews, Tim Allen (Kim), Lee Allen and Chris Allen (Angelica); nine grandchildren, Misty, Josh, Shelby, Michael, Mac, Liam, Wyatt, Bryce and Brynn, and five great-grandchildren, Brandon (the love of her life), Hunter, Ellie, Kinsley and Addy.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Hazen Allen, and a sister, Lorraine Allen.
The service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday July 22, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Burial will follow in the Catlett Cemetery.
