Patricia Smith Carter, 71, of The Plains, passed away March 21, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on June 21, 1949, and was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Carter.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Tina Coram of The Plains; a son, Phillip Mansfield (Linda) Coram Jr. of Paris, Va.; a brother, William D. (Carolyn) Smith of Manassas; a stepson, Herman J. Carter Jr. of Manassas; seven grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on at 11 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Solon Cemetery, 795 W. Washington St., Middleburg. Pastor Rodney L. Smith Sr. will deliver the eulogy.
