Obituaries » Randolph W. Tyler

Randolph Washington Tyler, 70, of Bealeton, departed this earthly realm to be with the Lord on June 4, 2020, at his home.

Randolph was born April 21, 1950, in Fauquier County, to the late John and Martha Tyler.

Randolph was raised and educated in Fauquier County before joining the military. Randolph served three years in the United States Army. Randolph earned the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter M16, Expert Rifle M14 and an honorable discharge. After the military, Randolph spent many years working for Smith Cattleguard in Midland. Randolph was a custodian with Fauquier County Public Schools for more than 17 years until retirement.

Randolph was an easy-going man. He loved his television shows, especially Western movies. He enjoyed fishing and playing the lottery regularly and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He liked helping people, but most of all, he loved his family.

Randolph leaves to cherish his memories three children, Tracie Quinn (Derik) of Woodbridge, Randolph White of Culpeper and Sheanett White of Culpeper; eight grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Tyler (Ernestine) of Springfield; two sisters, Ruth Lewis of Warrenton and Gloria Kenny of Bealeton; an aunt, Carrie Washington of Bealeton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Randolph was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Tyler; four brothers, and three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, with the service to immediately follow at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton.
