She was born on December 6, 1959, in Warrenton. Robyn was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She also attended Wendy Wood’s Charm Academy in Manassas, where she received a certificate and learned about grace, poise, and etiquette.
Robyn derived great joy from her 20-year career as a customer service clerk at Walmart in Warrenton. She was revered by many of her co-workers and was much loved by countless customers. Robyn loved toy stuffed bears and assembled quite an assortment over the years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Roger. They went on numerous trips throughout their marriage. While traveling, Robyn often stopped along the way to engage in her favorite sport – shopping. She always returned bearing thoughtful gifts and souvenirs for her family and loved ones. She loved the shimmer and twinkle of fine jewelry and was an avid collector.
Patty Sonnlieter was very close friend and travel companion whom she loved and adored. Vickie and Eric Doolittle were also very special and dear friends to Robyn. Additionally, her friends Sam and Martha Mitchell were always available to support and love her. Robyn has many other friends that also were very dear to her in life.
Her beloved family left to cherish her memory include her husband, Kenneth “Roger” Hardesty; her mother, Julia “Christine” Carroll; her brother, Marvin “Ricky” Carroll (Laura Boogaerts Carroll); two nephews, Justin Carroll and Felix Sauseda; two nieces, Marisa Carroll and Angeline Sauseda; a sister-in-law, Karen Reynolds, and “Teddybear” the most precious family dog.
