Victor Carlyle Addison Sr., 76, of Warrenton, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family and relatives, on November, 3, 2019.
He was born June 29, 1943, in Calverton, to Lee Henry Addison and Vivian Elease Tyler Addison.
Victor attended public schools in Fauquier County and graduated from W.C. Taylor High School in Warrenton in 1961. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. He was employed at Mid County Feed and Supply in Warrenton.
Victor is survived by his wife, Sonja Pitts Addison of Warrenton; a son, Victor C. Addison, Jr. (Deborah) of Warrenton; two daughters, Stephannie Addison-Mudd (George) and Leslee D. Addison (Antonio), both of Warrenton; two sisters, Queen Addison White (Edward) of Midland and Dr. Barbara Smith-Price of Atlanta; a brother, Paul T. Addison (Roger) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Brooke Addison Moore (Alonza) of Los Angeles, Aaron Vogel Addison and Mia Marie Addison of Warrenton, and Courtney Moore and Randy Jones of Kengiston, Md., and three great-grandchildren, Austin Moore of Los Angeles, and Hollis Moore and Arielle Jones of both of Kensington, Md.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m., when the funeral will begin Friday, November 8, at Faith Christian Church, 6472 Duhollow Road, Warrenton. Rev. Robert Jones will deliver the eulogy.
Interment with military honors will be in Culpeper National Cemetery.
