Arthur Warren Sandgren, age 79, formerly of Warrenton, VA passed on Monday, February 13th, 2023 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. He was born in Washington DC on October 8th, 1943, son of the late Arthur and Mildred Sandgren.
Warren was very proud to have served in the Navy on the USS Newport News 1960-1964. After his salvation in 1975, he was faithful to the Lord and spent the better part of his life fervently serving Him. He graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1982. Warren was a fierce protector of his family and would protect them at all costs. He was extremely talented and very much respected during his career as a Master Locksmith, which included him establishing and running the locksmith shop at the Department of State for the better part of 20 years.
Warren is survived by his two sons, Alan W Sandgren & his wife, Joanie of Nokesville, VA and Steven C. Sandgren & his wife, Becky of Haymarket, VA; four siblings, Barbara Joyce Sherman, Richard Thomas Sandgren, John Joseph Sandgren and Michael Allan Sandgren, as well as six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife of almost 40 years, Ruth Anne Sandgren.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Roberts.
The family will receive visitors at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, VA on Friday, February 24th, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Moser Funeral Home chapel at 2 pm on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 followed by interment at Bright View cemetery.
