Larry Wayne "Chuck" Butler, 55, of Goldvein, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1958, in Fauquier County, to the late George Leonard Butler Sr. and Hazel Roberta Hitt Butler.
Mr. Butler worked with both Suburban Propane and Amerigas previously, but he was a longtime employee of the Fauquier County Water and Sanitation Authority. He loved farming and was loved by many family members and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Tina M. Butler; his son, Dylan Wayne Butler of Goldvein, and four sisters, Mary Frances Miller of Midland, Deborah Curtis of Bealeton, Donna Sechrist of Midland and Michelle Schlosser of Bealeton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacklyn Briget Butler, and his brother George L. "Butch" Butler Jr.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 25, at Moser Funeral Home at Warrenton. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at the family cemetery near Goldvein. Those who attend are asked to park at 13039 Sillamon Road.
