Nancy Smith Wiles, 58, of Amissville, died May 24, 2012, at her home after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born on January 27, 1954. Mrs. Wiles was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and enjoyed playing bingo and being a fan of Tim McGraw.

She is survived by her husband, James W. Wiles; her daughter, Melissa Dawn Brackenridge of Amissville; her stepchildren, Anne Hugill, Janet Cameron and Lisa Sharkey, all of Fairfax, and James Wiles Jr. of Round Hill; her sisters, Tammy Martin of Alexandria and Karen Williams of Chester Gap; her brother, Joey Smith of Madison; her grandchildren, Dakota Brackenridge and Devin Brackenridge, and her step-grandchildren, Josh Wiles, Julie Cameron, Rachelle Cameron, Paige Sharkey, Meara Sharkey and Timmy Shirah.

Mrs. Wiles was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Louise Smith; a brother, Randy Smith, and two sisters, Wanda Lou Smith and Eva Mae Smith.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 28, at Amissville Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
